Aluminium Sheets

Aluminium Sheets

Aluminum sheets are among the most preferred materials in modern industry due to their lightweight structure, high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and excellent machinability. They are produced in various alloy series according to specific application requirements:

  • 1000 series: Pure aluminum with excellent corrosion resistance and formability.

  • 3000 series: Manganese alloyed, providing good weldability and medium strength.

  • 5000 series: Magnesium alloyed, offering very high corrosion resistance, widely used in marine and transportation industries.

  • 6000 series: Magnesium-silicon alloyed, heat-treatable for improved strength, commonly used in construction and automotive sectors.

  • 7000 series: Zinc alloyed, providing very high strength, mainly used in aerospace and defense industries.

During production and quality control processes, European standards such as EN 485, EN 573, EN 1386, and international standards such as ASTM B209 are applied. These standards define the chemical composition, mechanical properties, tolerances, and surface quality of the sheets, ensuring safe and reliable use across industries.

Applications:

  • Construction: Façade cladding, roofing systems, and decorative elements

  • Automotive and transportation: Vehicle bodies, caravans, and ship coverings

  • Aerospace: Aircraft body and interior components

  • Furniture and decoration: Kitchen equipment, coverings, and interior design

  • Electronics: Cases, heat sinks, and enclosures

  • Advertising: Signboards and display panels

  • Food industry: Packaging materials, refrigeration, and storage systems
